DC Rehabilitation of Francis Scott Key Bridge over the Potomac River, G.W. Parkway, Whitehurst Freeway and C&O Canal (Bridge No. 0007). The work includes but is not limited to extensive removal and repair of deteriorated concrete superstructure and substructure, encapsulate pier footings with fiber reinforced polymer jackets at the waterline, clean and paint existing pedestrian steel railing, replace bridge deck expansion joints, clean and repair bridge drainage system, install pedestrian/bicycle detection cameras and warning flashers, remove and reset precast concrete traffic barrier and remove and install street light poles and fixtures.
