Pump Station Regionalization Project The project generally consists of the following: 1. Asbestos abatement and Universal Waste Reclamation 2. Maintain Flow (bypassing) 3. Protect and Maintain Existing Critical Structures 4. Demolition of the existing wastewater treatment works building (City pumping station), incinerator building and fire training tower at 34 East Main Street; 5. Demolition of deep pilings, substructures, yard piping and site features 6. Construct approximately 12,000 square foot pumping station supported by deep pile foundation. Pumping Station generally consists of screenings and grit removal room, inlet works/treatment room, wet well, pump room, valve vault, flow meter vault, general administrative, electrical and control, mechanical, lavatory, laundry, office and workshop 7. Site work (proposed drainage, utility and grading) 8. Construction of approximately 900 feet of 30 inch Ductile Iron force main 9. Construction of approximately 450 feet of 36 inch PVC gravity sanitary sewer (East Main Street Sewer) 10. Construction of approximately 800 feet of 12 inch PVC gravity sewer (Maple St Sewer) 11. Construction of approximately 800 feet of 42 inch Ductile Iron gravity sewer and 60 inch steel casing Bids due 12/19
