The intent of the Invitation to Bid is to obtain pricing for Asbestos and Hazardous Material Removal at 31 Clifton Place for the City of Bridgeport Department of Construction Management Services. The structure is to be asbestos abated and demolished with foundation broken down two feet below grade (including any and all accessory buildings on the site) and the associated lot, is to be left clean and free of debris including but not limited to removal of any type of junk and garbage. All cellar slabs shall be perforated before Backfilling. The lot is to be graded with clean fill and six inches of wood chip mulch covering. Include in the price for demolition a six (6) feet high galvanized chain link fence, with top rail, installed to manufacturer’s specifications; set back of sidewalk line two (2) feet, along the street property line(s).
