Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District, owner and operator of Water World is seeking bids for the demolition of the "Funhouse " attraction. Demolition is scheduled to begin November 20, 2019 and be completed by December 31, 2019. Demolition will include, but not be limited to the following: Fiberglass slides and bowls, steel support towers and structures, steel stairs and precast concrete treads, wall panals, ceilings, above ground piping and electrical. Certain features will be saved and set aside for reuse. Concrete cassons will be left in place. Demolition will take place adjacent to and around the existing Gondola Tramway.
