Replace Microwave Site Tower - Coaldale. Estimated Construction Cost: 169,125.00. The Governors Office of Information Technology recently completed a tower analysis project for the structural analysis of the State Public Safety radio network tower infrastructure. This analysis identifies numerous critical structural requirements. A high percentage of the towers are in excess of 35 years of age. During the 35 years these towers have been exposed to wind, moisture, lightning and loading stresses. The Coaldale tower structure has been selected for replacement in this project request The Governors Office of Information Technology has received funding to replace several communication towers over the next two years and will be using this pre-qualification process to select qualified Contractors for this and additional tower projects. At this time we are only accepting proposals for the Coaldale site. This solicitation is for a design-build of a forty (40) foot tall, self-supporting communications tower, ancillary equipment, disassembly and removal of an existing tower at the Coaldale Communications Site located near Coaldale in Fremont County, Colorado.
