Yuba City: OLD FIRE STATION 4 DEMOLITION. The project involves abatement of asbestos and lead, and full demolition of all structures on site. The site is located at 211 S. Walton Avenue. Asbestos and lead abatement must comply with all Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), federal, state, and local regulations. Asbestos and lead test reports are attached in this bid package. Demolition of the site will include removal of trees, footings, concrete driveways and slabs, asphalt pavement and debris. After demolition, the site shall be graded to allow access onto the lots from the entry way. The water line has been cut to the building, but the sewer lateral will require cutting and capping at the back of sidewalk.
