Novato Fire Protection District: Training Tower/Classroom Demolition The District maintains six sites in Novato. Five fire stations and one administrative building. The firetraining tower and classroom are located at Station 62 at 450 Atherton Avenue, Novato, CA. The servicesto be provided will be overseen by the designated District Contract Manager (“DCM”).A. All materials for the demolition are to be provided by General Contractor unlessotherwise noted in this ITB.B. Demolish of training tower constructed of concrete/brick including the concrete slab,concrete stairs and footing.C. Demolish classroom building constructed of concrete/brick including all concrete slabsand footings.D. Dispose of all concrete/brick debris from both demolitions.E. District is responsible for obtaining permits from the Marin County Building PermitDepartment. District will also ensure final sign off by the County of Marin Buildingdepartment at project completion. All fees associated with the permitting process willbe paid by the District directly with the County of Marin.F. District is responsible for capping sprinkler, water and gas prior to demolition.
