Partial Demolition and Remodel of the Former Merced County Hospital. In general, this project comprises: 1. Interior and Exterior Hazardous Materials Abatement of the Main Hospital Building, IT Building, Cryogenic/Oxygen Building, Boiler Building, Housekeeping/Maintenance Buildings, Chiller Building and other demolished structures as identified on the plan documents and in the Hazardous Materials Survey dated August 8, 2011 as prepared by Hazard Management Services, Inc. Interior ONLY abatement to occur on the 1963 and 1981 wings of the Main Hospital. Refer to Survey for locations of Hazardous Materials Abatement on site. 2. Demolition of the 1938 wing of the Main Hospital Building, IT Building, Cryogenic/Oxygen Building, Boiler Building and Housekeeping/Maintenance Buildings. Partial demolition of the 1951 wing of the Main Hospital Building. Interior demolition of the Warehouse wing and a portion of the 1951 wing of the Main Hospital Building, and the Chiller Building. 3. Tenant Improvement of the Warehouse wing and a portion of the 1951 wing of the main Hospital Building to house County Records Storage and Elections. 4. Complete interior demolition of the 1963 and 1981 wings are to be considered in Additive Alternate Bid No. 1. Bids due 01/26/12
