Fawn Lodge Forest Fire Station- Replace Facility. Project includes the demolition of the existing bridge and the existing facilities, site development, hazardous materials abatement, and the protection of historical out buildings that remain. The bridge will be replaced with a new bridge structure. The equipment apparatus building consists of 3 vehicle bays, office, work room, rest room and mezzanine. The 12-bed dormitory / mess hall consists of six bedrooms, mechanical room, storage area, laundry area, Men’s / Women’s showers and restroom facilities, library, staff training room, kitchen, pantry and day room. This project includes a CMU generator/storage building, grading and paving, new utilities including septic system, a 10,000 gallon domestic and a 30,0000 gallon fire water storage tank, hose wash rack, fire hydrant, yard hydrants, above ground fuel vaults, site fencing, retaining walls, flagpole, communications tower, trash enclosure, site/curb/gutter/sidewalks, and site lighting, License required to bid project: A and / or B. Successful bidder shall furnish payment and performance bonds each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. State’s estimated cost: $4,000,000 to $5,000,000. Bids due 09/02
