El Centro: PUBLIC LIBRARY DEMOLITION PROJECT 2015. The City of El Centro is inviting bids for the demolition and rough grading of the City of El Centro Public Library located at 539 W. State Street. The project will consist of removal and dispose of all existing non-building appurtenance (furniture, books, trash, etc.) from inside the building. The demolition of existing library building including slab and foundation, exterior and interior walls, basement and surrounding building appurtenances; as well as demolition of existing perimeter fence, trees, concrete walkways, and parking lot. Following demolition site shall be rough graded, basement hole to be in fill with native material and the site to be graded to match existing surrounding property elevations.
