CA Department of General Services: (RFQ) REPLACEMENT OF THE EXISTING CALIFORNIA STATE CAPITOL ANNEX THROUGH A CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK CONTRACT. The Joint Rules Committee of the Legislature of the State of California (“JRC”) is pleased to present this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) to prospective entities (the “Proposers”) interested in submitting Statements of Qualifications (“SOQs”) for the demolition and replacement of the existing California State Capitol Annex and other potential improvements in Sacramento, California, as described in Part A, Section 2.1 (“Project”) through a construction manager at risk (“CMR”) contract. The fixed limit of construction costs (“FLCC”) for construction of the Project is $500,000,000.JRC is currently in the process of procuring the services of a design firm (“Architect/Engineer”) to provide the design and layout of the Project in collaboration with CMR.
