I built those crutch-bents on the South side of the old bridge.

Thanks for everyone's response from this forum. It was a great tool for sure. We have a path forward on the demolition and I just wanted to officially close the request for bids. Thanks, Josh

Hello, I work for Skanska USA.

I need to collect bids for the demolition of the temporary bridge that Skanska constructed to allow for the reconstruction of the Bridge of Lions in St. Augustine, Florida.

We will be ready to begin demolition in November 2009.

The scope will include removal and disposal of all the concrete debris, spans, bents, fender, hand rail, lights, etc. A permit is in place for disposal 12 miles off shore. We are open to other options for disposal as well. Piles will need to be removed 2 feet below the mud surface and no demolition debris may be left to fall in the water. The scope may also include removal and shipment of the temporary draw bridge span. Candidates with marine construction experience desired.

My Name is Josh Flammer. My phone number is 678-794-5032
