The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Logistics Service Area intends to pre-qualify contractors interested in receiving a Request for Offer (RFO) for all work associated with the asbestos removal and demolition in the Control Wing first floor and the attic space at the Boston Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) located at 35 Northeastern Blvd., Nashua, NH. The successful offeror must be able to complete 25% of the asbestos abatement work using it own resources. The total performance time is 210 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The estimated construction price range is $500,000.00 to $1,500,000.00. The pre-qualification document SIR DTFANE-10-R-00222 is attached. The FAA will be pre-qualifing Prime or General Contractors only. Contractors who pre-qualify will be eligible to receive a Request for Offer. The FAA will not provide additional sets of plans and specifications to the pre-qualified contractor or others who request plans and specifications. Submittals must address the evaluation criteria and should be provided in an original and three (3) copies. All submittals must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. local time, Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Submittals received after this date will not be considered.
