[font=Verdana]Battle Creek Air National Guard (ANG), [/font][font=Verdana]Battle Creek[/font][font=Verdana], [/font][font=Verdana]Michigan[/font][font=Verdana] plans to alter and construct an addition to the existing fires crash/rescue station. The contractor will be responsible for all plant, labor, materials, supervision and equipment required for a complete and usable facility. The work includes construction of a new, approximately 16,200 square foot addition to include administration space, vehicle bay, material storage areas, and maintenance areas. The project also includes the alteration of approximately 6,000 square foot vehicle storage bays to include new lighting and a new roof. Project includes demolition of existing administrative areas that will make way for new vehicle storage bays. Construction will be phased. Construction will continue through the winter months. A firm fixed priced contract is contemplated. The contract will be awarded under Sealed Bid procedures specified in the solicitation. Award will be made to lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Solicitation will be unrestricted in accordance with the Competitiveness Demonstration Program, however, small businesses, service- disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZONE Small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to participate. The HUB Zone preference IAW FAR 19.1307. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 and the Size Standard for small Businesses is an average of $28.5 million annual receipts for the past 3 years. A Small Business subcontracting plan will be required if the offeror is a large business and must be submitted with offer. In order to receive a contract award as result of this solicitation, CONTRACTORS MUST HAVE A CURRENT ACTIVE LISTING IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR). Information regarding CCR is provided on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov The solicitation package, amendments and site visit minutes will be issued via the web only. All questions will be received via email or by fax and responses will be posted on the web. The solicitation plans and specifications will be available at the following internet site: http://www.nationalguardcontracting.org with a link to FedTeds. All contractors and subcontractors will be required to register for the solicitation before you can download. This registration will also ensure an e-mail will be sent ensuring all contractors receive all modifications/ amendments. However, it is the responsibility of the contractor to frequently check the web site for all notices, modifications/amendments regarding this procurement. The government will not be liable or responsible for any email notifications not sent o r received by contractors regarding this procurement. Receipt of offers will be approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. The magnitude of this procurement is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. [/font]
