Alpha : Demolition of the Swimming Pool. In general, this project consists of the demolition of the reinforced concrete pool structures at the Alpha Borough Recreational Facility along Vulcanite Avenue. The demolition will include the main pool, baby pool and the surrounding concrete slabs. The main pool covers approximately 11,400 sf with an average depth of 4 to 5 feet. The baby pool covers approximately 1,000 sf with an average depth of 2 feet. The concrete slab on grade walkways cover approximately 13,300 sf with an average thickness of 4 to 5 inches.
