The work consists principally of providing bonds, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for the surveys of potentially harmful materials such as asbestos, lead-based paint, polychlorinatedbiphenyl (PCBs), various petroleum products and naturally occurring radioactive materials; deactivation of electrical service to various buildings and areas; demolition of buildings, structures, equipment and other materials; recycling demolished concrete materials by crushing and stockpiling on site for future use as road base material by ASPA; clearing and grubbing of vegetated areas; and rerouting electrical service to perimeter lighting and cameras, all as indicated in the Contract Drawings and Specifications.
