2014 Armstrong Street and East University Drive Water Tank Demolition and Removal. The work on this project consists of: Demolition and removal of two existing water storage tanks: 200,000 gallon elevated storage tank on Armstrong Street and 2,000,000 gallon ground storage tank on East University Drive. At each site, the existing water main will be cut and capped by the Owner at the altitude valve vault. The Contractor shall be responsible for demolishing, removing, and transporting all steel structures, all abandoned yard piping on tank side of vault, concrete foundations to a minimum of 24 inches below existing grade, and other associated work for the complete demolition of the tanks as shown on the Plans and specified in the Specifications.
