National Park Service, Alaska Regional Office. NAICS Code: 238160 (Remediation Services), size standard: $13,000,000. This acquisition will be 100% set-aside for Small Business. The estimated price range for this project is $100,000 to $250,000. Bid bond, performance and payment bonds will be required. The work will fall under the Service Contract Act. Any resulting contract will be firm-fixed price. Prospective bidders desiring to conduct business with Department Of Interior, download a copy of the solicitation, and wishing to receive electronic notification of changes are required to register their company with the National Business Center (NBC) web site, at IDEAS Business Solutions. Provide your company's DUNS number (available from Dun and Bradstreet at 1-888-546-0024), and your Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN). This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. Both are required for Government contract award. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available and telephone requests or fax requests for this solicitation will not be accepted. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: DENA Employee Dormitory Demolition, Denali National Park & Preserve, Alaska: The project consists of demolishing (to include abating hazardous materials) the abandoned employee dormitory near the visitor center in the entrance area of the park. The work includes final grading of the site. Contractor should have the capability to perform/apply normal hazardous abatement and demolition techniques in the performance of this work. Contractor will be required to travel to Denali National Park, Alaska and have the ability to provide all equipment & qualified personnel for abating hazardous material and demolition and disposal. The Denali National Park is in a semi-remote location and is located at Milepost 237 of the General Parks Highway, approximately 120 miles south of Fairbanks and 250 miles north of Anchorage, Alaska. A site visit will be scheduled at a later date and will be announced via amendment. No questions will be answered at the site visit that cannot be quoted out of the specifications. Questions will be solicited in writing at the site visit and posted with answers as an amendment to the solicitation. Solicitation Issue Date is on or about 12 June 2007 (subject to change) and the due date is on or about 12 July 2007. The completion date for the project is estimated at 30 September 2007. Funds are available for the proposed project, however, if the project is cancelled, all proposal preparation costs will be borne by the bidder.
