Feel free to start one. ;)

I for one don't start a job without something signed, even if it's a PO or even my bid proposal.

I try to have that scope review included with the contract.
The better GC's will use your scope review to disqualify another sub.

A little combination of both.

I think it really depends on the project your bidding. Some specs are so general for the demolition section, that your making up your own scope of work anyway.

They way I look at, you can write the best scope of work and write per the bids specs, but if you get the job, its all in the way the contract is written.

You know GCs they like to slip a clause or two in there that can screw you big time.

Bid per documents and allow for changes, some of which may discount the pricing for the client.

What do you do?
Do you submit a bid based on the bid documents, or submit a scope sheet and list the items you are carrying?
