I don't know if I would raise holy hell on that, I would have to think about that one. I think I would rather see them there than at a nudity bar.

I remember awhile back ago at a former company, the boss got cut-off by a roll-off truck and after she caught up with it, she realized it was one of hers, needless to say the driver didn't have a job the next day.

We have our insurance agent run a DMVR (department of motor vehicle record) on employees.
If everything looks good then no problem. If there is a spotty record you can have your insurance agent check with your carrier to see if an individual is ok to drive a vehicle

Our boss raised holy hell when he saw a couple company trucks parked outside of the tavern after work. As well he should have. He doesnt stand for aggressive driveing on vehicles with his name on them, either. Phone number is on there too, and everyone on the road has a cellphone, he doesnt like getting a call from anyone complaining. We make sure every load in trucks that need to be tarped get tarped.

It amazes me that people can drive like such idiots with their company name and number on the side of their vehicle. Construction folks (and there's lots of them in this area), delivery people, etc.

But do you know how well your people act behind the wheel of your company vehicles? Tailgating, speeding, running red lights, cutting people off. What are your policies? Do you check driving records?
