You guys are right where you want to be. I see so many contractors just focus on public works and all that does is "kill" ya.

Most of the time you are competing with 4 or 5 other demolition contractors, then you have 5 to 10 General Contractors that you have to deal with and of those only 3-4 of them are serious about the project.

As far as my demo work goes, it's 90/10 private/public. On the c&d recycling front, right now we are all private; it's hard to get southern minicipalities to think real recycling.

I always tell people who ask you maybe want 75-85% of your jobs private and 15-25% of your jobs to be public.

I think this is a good mixture what are your thoughts?
