I live in SW FL, commercial building activity has picked up substantially as has apt building. I foresee in the relatively near future, older strip malls and apt/condo buildings being torn down to be replaced with improved products. There has been a rush of investors buying older properties at extremely low prices, many in very desireable areas. No doubt many will be demolished and replaced with mini-mansions or real ones.
Best of luck for a great year to all
