Anybody getting weird calls lately? I had a call (after about a week or 3 of nothing) to dispose of a fellas garage.The kicker , he didn't even have the budget to rent a roll-off box, and wanted me to get rid of it for him. I met with him, and told him if he can't rent a box then he can't afford my laborers for a day, but went on my merry way after giving him a business card. Nice guy, real unrealistic...he was going to do the knock down himself...:(

Next day I get a call about doing a large job out of state. Big money, and probably too big for my scope, but the guy seems to have some money and waved $100k in my face to see if I would take it, sight unseen. Told him I'd like to see some pictures, drawings, and all the other particulars about the jobsite. Setting up a meeting with him soon to go over everything.

It's been a weird week.
