I am running Windows Vista RC1 on another hard drive right now. I am not sure if I like it or not yet. I guess it's just a matter of getting used to it.

If anybody else is interested in testing it here is the link

When it comes to new operating systems, I like to wait a few years so they can get the bugs out. I used my 98se system for several years after XP hit the market, matter of fact, I bought my first XP machine this past June.

Microsoft has confirmed pricing on the five versions of Windows Vista that will be available for retail purchase (the Enterprise edition will be available only through volume licensing agreements). Windows Ultimate, designed to appeal to both business and home users, will upgrade at $259, with full purchase at $399. Upgrades to Business Edition will run $199; full copies will be $299.

Of course most of us are going to want to upgrade to the Ultimate, but paying $259.00 for an upgrade. I may stick with XP for awhile now. Or some are saying just wait til October through December when they start selling it on new computers and just buy a new computer with it pre loaded.
