[FONT=Verdana]Limited space still remains for the National Demolition Association's new Demolition Academy, a three-day educational program offering the latest safety information and management training for the demolition industry, Oct. 15-17 at the Renaissance Concourse Hotel in Atlanta.[/FONT][FONT=Verdana]

Courses include a Demolition-Specific OSHA 10-Hour Certification, offered in both English and Spanish on Oct. 15 and training in confined space rescue and aerial lift equipment safety. On Oct. 16 and 17, topics covered include managing stress, implosion safety issues, personal protective equipment, confined space awareness, and rental equipment safety awareness. Other topics include managing a demolition project; how to manage a company's safety program; what to do during an on-site emergency when disaster strikes; legal issues confronting the demolition industry; and current human resources issues on the demolition jobsite.[/FONT] [FONT=Verdana]
