I can travel anywhere in the world for the right job. Have a valid US passport.....
In addition to shooting still images I also shoot video. My videos have really taken off and made quite and impact. I shoot, edit and add a soundtrack to each video. Sometimes I also add still images and text.
Recently a client asked me to put together a self looping 15 minute video for a tradeshow booth. Apparently it was the showstopper. It showcased some of the more dramatic events of their top projects in the past year. It helped explain how they did things and showed how safe they are when demoing a project.
Here is the first half of the video (youtube has a max of ten minutes).

Of course this is ten times better on a big plasma screen!!!!

A website is imperative for us as this is the hallmark of our marketing strategy. We can be contacted by phone or fax but your inquiry will, most likely, be responded to more quickly if you email us your information. We do not employ a receptionist because this equates to unneccessary overhead. These are the expense elements that drive your costs up. Our Business Model is streamlined, effective and very cost competitive. We only contact our customers by telephone to resolve critical issues such as account set-up, payment and shipping details. You can visit our website at Equipment Parts Direct

the average joe does not go on line looking for a contractor. I would bet that major General contractors don't go on line looking for sub-contractors either that way. Where I have found our website useful is when I am trying to get in the door with a GC I never worked for or a PM I never worked for. I get asked all the "do you have a website we can check out" This way they can check us out when they have time too.
I would have to agree with cutter67. I have a shift from the "send me you brochure" to what's your "website address". While the local joes are going to look in the phone book or ask around for recommendations, a decent website does open some doors with contractors out of your immediate area. The caveat is of course, a fancy website doesn't necessarily mean experienced, safe and reliable.

To join in the conversation & trying to follow some of the links posted above (which are no longer), I realized that even though, in today's high tech world, as a business within the construction/demolition market, I'm not sure how imperative it is. As far as building the business goes ........ I don't know. Do you think the average Joe goes online to find a contractor? Maybe. But key to this industry is reputation isn't it? Word of mouth? And unless you're really on the top of your game isn't it a quite localized industry?

The wig’s cap is made entirely of French stock full lace wigs or Swiss lace (custom lace front wig may be ordered in French or Swiss front lace wigs). Strands are hand-tied to the lace. Knots are blended so they are not seen. The knotting technique allows natural hair flow for multi-directional hairstyling. The process of creating a Lace Wig takes approximately 30 to 45 days to complete.

Digdug,
Ahh....northwest ohio. Haven't actually been to wauseon myself, but I'm familiar with where it is at. The only thing that concerns me is that when you get into that part of the state, it is so close to michigan that you find some U of M wolverine fans!
Thanks for the positive feedback on the website and if you found videos on youtube by the same username: cretebuster, they should be our videos.
Adding photos and videos to our website have proven to have a positive impact on our website.
I finally got around to putting something up. It's pretty simple and still needs some fleshing out. I am in the process of scanning in old photos and converting to digital so I can add them to the site.
Shut off our old free site , and built another. Still made in house but getting better. McAtee Excavation & Demolition Inc. - Home
We recently revamped our website to look more professional, have pictures, videos and a contact form to fill out. Please let us know what you think. It is still a work in progress. http://www.cretebusters.com
Thanks to all that take the time to critique!
