Lots to read. In today's market image is everything. Where is your gallery of completed projects?
Perhaps I could help document projects for you in the future.

This is a great topic.
I believe websites are necessary to validate your company to new customers as well as some of your existing customers. When I'm looking for services I look on the internet first and won't spend much time looking in other places. If I'm unfamiliar with a company and they don't have a website I tend to skip them and move onto the next company. The content, layout & functionality of the website definately have an impact on my overall impression of the company.
Just my thougths.

Thanks James..... I hope to expand my business with Obama rebuilding of America plan. We are going to have to document it all for the history books!
We are getting ours up and running this week. We have been working on it for a few months. It is This Web site coming soon and This Web site coming soon. It was a lot fo work, especially technical, but hope it will be well worth it.
Hey,
It's good to see everyone understanding the value of having a website.
These days everyone is either busy, or wants to get the information they need without being pressured. More and more people are searching for everything they need online, if you don't have a website your being passed over by potential clients and your competition is grabbing them up.
Also, when it comes to websites, once you have a potential client there, you want them to feel as comfortable as possible. The information they're looking for should be easy to find. Pictures are a big help in giving your business a more legitimate look also.
Finally, kind of a big step that is often overlooked with websites is Search Engine Optimization. Sure, your website is great to have on your business card and so you can tell people to go to it. But you want to get those people searching around on the internet for what you have to offer. This is where Keyword placement, backlinks, meta tags, etc. come into play.
If you aren't setting up your website yourself, Search Engine Optimization(SEO) is something you should definitely discuss with your web developer.
Feel free to ask me any questions on any of this.
