Where it used to be an image is worth a thousand words. Video and podcast are the way to go now a days.
In fact, I posted in the market place an ad looking for work to shoot for demolition firms.
It starts off.......
They used to say that a picture is worth a thousand words, then that would mean a video is priceless. In our digital, image driven society, if you are not getting your work in front of people visually they will never know you exist.
Picking up the phone and talking to potential new clients seems to be a thing of the past. Conversing using videos, digital photos and messages wired through your Nextel, Blackberry or Laptop is the way we communicate now!!
In fact, I was just contacted by Jewell to put together a piece for them for the their booth at the convention!!!:spinningsmile:
Here are some of the most popular I currently have on youtube.
I have found that these are great from promoting key projects, as videos for tradeshow boothes and as DVD gifts for your employees.
Imagine the power of a video over an 8x10 print.

In addition to photography I also shoot video and timelapse images.
I began shooting video as anaddition to my photography years ago, but have only been able to really SHOW it since youtube came out.
My client LOVE the way it shows what going on in a given project and it has become an invaluable tool for my arsenal.
Here are some of my most viewed videos on YouTube!!!
Now that we have the new 'hack' installed you can just click on the images to get directy to the video!!
I'll start with the most recent.

Steve, you've done a great service to the operators at Testa and all around Boston. I've enjoyed your work. Thank you and keep up the good job. Peter Monsini
Mr. Monsini......
Nice to see you on this site. When I was shooting the Big Dig I came in contact with a number of operators on dozers, to gradalls and ringer cranes and towers cranes.....but it was always the work of the Testa operators that impressed me the most.
A lot of the Testa operators that I met even 8 -10 years ago are still with the company and great friends of mine....
It has always been an honor to witness them at work.
Documenting their talents whether on film or in videos has been a great way to immortalize the history they made happen.
Looking forward to the next 10 years....
Steve

what other demolition sites have you taken pictures of?
I have been primarily shooting projects for Testa Corp., since 2001.
I have also shot some jobs for NASDI and Costello, both local to Boston, MA.
I would like to shoot for some of the other Top 25 US companies hopefully I can connect with some people here.....
I am new to this forum but I thought this would be the PERFECT audience for what I do.....DEMOLITION PHOTOGRAPHY.....
I have been shooting for over 30 years and certainly know my way around a construction/demolition site.
Since this is my first post, besides my introduction I thought I would just GO BIG and show you something a bit different.
In addition to still photography I also shoot video and timelapse photography.
Enjoy.....
