Demobud,
Thanks for the lead on the Pocket Ref. As soon as I read the post I bought two from Amazon. Took them to the office and one of them was immediately claimed by my electrical engineer. What a cool tool!!!!!!! Thanks again.:yesway:

Good recommendation demobud!

I might be able to put something together here over the weekend on early next week and upload it to share with everyone.

You might also pick up a copy of the Pocket Ref by Thmas J Glover. I keep one in my desk, truck and toolbox. It has tons of reference material for estimators to use. You can find them at just about any book store, some hardware store and all over the "interweb".

What does everyone uses to calculate weights, volume, and area? I was looking around for tables and fomulas online. Is there any standard book/calculator everyone uses and where should I find it?
