Nac, I don't know if you've done carpet removal before, but i just got my ass handed to me on a tile and carpet removal job. The 3 test spots i did came up real easy, but the rest sucked. I need to get a ride on stripper next time. I used an edgeco grinder and went through 5 discs at $175 each for 350 sf. I learned a good lesson on this job. I would compare the pricing to sub out shot blasting.
I am looking at a 24,000 sf retail space for interior demo.
24,000 sf of 2x4 ceiling tile, grid and light fixuters
24,000 sf carpert (Glue will be an extra to remove what do you sugest shot blast or grind?)
4,500 sf of single sideed 5/8 sheet rock and metal stud attached to exterior walls 15' ceilng hieght
What are the going rated per sf in NJ non union
