I found another one.

"The Guidebook to Explosives Demolitions" It's ggod for theory, but some of their delay patterns look a little sketchy

I keep a copy of the Pocket Ref in my truck. It's great for formulas, weight conversions, and just about any other piece of knowledge that won't stay in my brain.

I found another one that I used just the other day:

Builder's Estimating Databook by Robert Taylor & S. Blackwell Duncan

It's great to use for weights of materials that are not to common.

I am a pack rat when it comes to saving technical reports and what not. I have an entire drawer on nothing but demolishing post tensioned and pre stressed structures. These publications are tough to find in print. Is it possible to publish them on this site or would you have to jump throuhg all the reprint permission hoops?

Robert, I would love to get my hands on some of those. Do think we would get in trouble for emailing or faxing copies?

"Moving the Earth: The Handbook of Excavation" by Herbert Nicols and David Day.

I bought this book years ago. I had to dust it off recently and reread it. I was helping one of my budiies out on a site with a large volume of contaminated soil. The book has paid for itself a couple of times over.
