I just got this yesterday:
The new Bronto Skylift Model F-101 HLA truck-mounted aerial device features a working height of 331 feet, a world record, according to the company. Originally produced for fire-fighting purposes, an industrial version for the alternative energy, utility and construction industries is planned for launch in the spring of 2007.
A German company makes an "Aerial Apparratus" that can reach 800'! I learned of this unit when I blew down a 1,218' tower in Quebec that had a dead pilot and plane stuck at the 1,100' level. They were going to bring it in but it still couldn't reach the dead pilot. The "let him fall like an apple from a tree" philosophy the wife wished, didn't fly with the Governement. We shot the tower and they retrieved the body.
