Honestly, I have never heard of something like that either. The website that SRI didn't went to a dead page, I did find some information of what I think SRI was talking about here: AmDyne : EchoBond™

I think that you are talking about Echobond.

Take a look at thier web page echobondlbp.com.

I have not used it, so I can't comment on it's effectivesness or ease to work with.

Let us know how it works if you try it.

In the past I have read about chemicals that can be applied to lead based painted surfaces and change the makeup of the paint so that the material is no longer a requlated material. Has anyone had any experience with this type materials?
