We are removing 2000ft of 72in steel water line with 1/2in thick wall, asbestos coated. Most of it is buried about 8ft to the top of pipe. We are cutting it from the inside with plasma cutters and removing it in about 12 ft lengths. The job site is very conjested and mud and ground water is also a problem. Once a section is removed it is the taken to an abatment area, after that its crushed and folded for easy loading and hauling. We are doing our work at nite due to all of the construction traffic and other trades on the site. Not the most exiting project or the highest production, but at least its all T&M.
