i dont know what the operator in the 400 thought the building was gonna do he was right in thr line of fire.... it was either drop the building on the 400 or drop it in the roads.... the operator is just lucky he didnt get killed...

I am amazed at the lack of protection on the Excavator. The second video shows the machine a little better, If your going to perform work that dangerous at least give the operator a chance to survive after you drop the building on top of the cab.

Has anyone seen this video yet on Youtube, very unprofessional demolition operation if you ask me. I can make a list of what they did wrong. Firstly, they are using a long reach excavator, long reach excavators are used in the marsh, and for deep excavations, not for demolition. Next they are using the excavator with shear directly under the building, and when it falls, it fall directly on the machine and breaks a hydraulic hose. Next there are no safety precautions, they are working right next to the power lines, and next to the road. They should of covered the power lines and closed the road. As you can see if was not a safe demolition, makes me think if they illegally demolished that building.

Here is a video later on during the demolition, as you can see they are pushing the machine to it limits.
