tore down a 3 bedroom house once and it was the sickest thing i have ever seen. Police took care of everything dangerous, it was just the mess they left behind. house was stuffed to the ceiling with garbage, clothes, weed eaters, etc. took 5 100 yard dumpsters to haul off the house, and another 2 for a small shed and travel trailer.

Even those crack houses are bad.

Yeah, even though it was "clean" when I walked in the residual odors were overwhelming. I'm not really looking to do it again, I'll stick to crack houses.

It is getting bad here also, mostly in the next county. But then again it seems to be getting bad everywhere.

I have only "looked" at one and it was bad, and I walked away from it.

I demo'ed one about a year and half ago. I only did the demo, the Sheriffs department had already used the county's hazmat team to clean it. It was still a sight. The house was about 1700 square feet witha slab foundation. Every surface looked like it had been acid washed especially in the kitchen. The lino floor had peeled back and exposed the concrete which was pitted where fluids had been spilled. All of the metal surfaces were rusted like they were 50 years old. The sheriff's deputy told me that the manufacturers had been working with only cheap nuisance masks. Its a wonder they didn't die from the fumes.
Apparently meth has become the big drug here in Alabam over he last three years. I expct to see more meth lab demos in the future; once a house or apt has been used for a lab, you really can't use it for habitation.

Anybody have experience with drug house clean-up? With more and more meth houses showing up everywhere, I am curious if anybody has any experiences cleaning them up.
