Equipment is not included. I figure about $2.00/cy. Rock clause isn't necessary. If it (rocks, concrete, etc.), fit in a 3.27 cy bucket it's okay. Non-union, no wage scale.

Are you being provided with any equipment or is it all turnkey? I did a dirt move ( 60,000cy) where the owner provided the dumps and we just did the load and spread (no compaction). I think the price was .75/cy.

I'm on a job that has about 800,000 cy of dirt. I've heard numbers from .50 to 2.50 a cubic yard to move the dirt. The dirt is spoils from other excavating jobs of the Owner. You have to move it about 1/4 mile to 1/2 mile and can use end dumpers. No compaction, just spread it out.
It's heavy mud, dry sand, gravel, demo debris, concrete and big rocks. All can be handled with a PC 400 or 345.
Numbers anyone? It's been a long time since I've moved dirt.
