Demolition contractor Vlasman from holland has at the moment an very interesting demolition job in Kuwait. Demolition of 54 silo's from 35 meter high and 8m. wide. Also the 50m head houses have to be demolished. Pictures on Vlasman Betonbewerkings- en Slooptechnieken b.v. or Vlasman GmbH Biggest excavator on the job is their 50m high Hitachi 870-3 demolition machine.

We just picked up a 12 story in Richmond Va. to take down by hand, because it sits right beside a historical church

It looks like we will be going to take down 178 buildings at a rocket booster facility in Gainsville Va as well

And june 15th we are going to start TC Williams High School This is the school where Remember The Titans Was filmed with Danzel Washington

Anyone got any cool demolition jobs going on right now, or coming down this summer?

I'm talking about cool jobs that give you a special challenge or opportunity? What's entailed with the job? What kind of equipment are you going to use to tackle it? Anything unusual or peculiar to the work?

Anyone got any cool old buildings to wreck? Like something with interesting historical value, or a locally well-known building where the job is getting a lot of attention or press?

Any interesting salvage contracts? Like making big money selling off parts of the building before demo?

Interested in hearing all about it, guys. Thanks.
