I bid the interior stuff by man days, typically i throw square footage out the window. I feel like it depends on how fast you can get the debris out out the work area.

When bidding I bid by the job, but at the same time by the square foot. As Nuke said if someone is fishing it's a SF price with conditions.

Hello all,

I am curious as to how you bid jobs. Do you use a square foot method, or by the job. I recently bid 2 jobs, one was for total demolition and the other was for interior selective demolition. They came out to be almost the same price. I know that int. demo is more labor intensive, and takes longer. But sometime the numbers that come up seem a little scary!
