In Washington State, you have to successfully complete an approved asbestos worker training course (32 Hours)
Achieve a score of at least seventy percent on a one hundred question multiple choice closed book examination approved by the department but administered by the training course sponsor. If an individual does not pass the examination, then another examination (meeting the above criteria) may be given after a sufficient period of study. The new examination must not duplicate more than fifty percent of the questions used on prior examinations.
You have 60 days after you complete the class to submit your application and pay a $50.00 non refundable fee.

I received my Asbestos Supervisor cert from TEI in Atlanta,GA and the EPD of GA requires that you have 3 jobs as the supervisor to be able to apply and receive your license to abate asbestos in the state of GA. SC on the other hand only requires you to take the class and show proof of it to receive your license. What are other state requirements? I think its unfair in GA b/c I believe it creates unfair business practices b/c other abatement companies are not going to let you help and create competition for themselves.
