Any suggestions on the best way to remove suspended ceiling, and every thing above it lighting sprinkler pipe, air handlers etc, in a sports auditorium type setting. Aprox 20 thousand square feet. Open floor space. Here's my problem. To access the ceiling I have two 80 foot boom lifts. Since OSHA requires a chute to be used for drops over 20 feet what would the best way to lower all the material that I will be removing. It doesn't seem that removing and lowering it all piece by piece with the lifts will be feasible. Not to mention there must be a 1000 or more old 8 foot fluorescent light bulbs up in the ceiling space that need to come down. Any suggestions would be helpfull.
