[QUOTE=Wolf;8633]Hello Wrecker Jason and welcome to the forum. What kind of demo projects are you involved with? Are you an operator, estimator or project manager? What kind of equipment are you using for demo? Is the industry going "green" in Indiana yet, or what is going on there? Any pictures you got would be cool to see also. Thanks, man.[/Q
Hello all. I am involved in all kinds of demo jobs. Ranging from interior strips to complete industrial demos. Completed the demo & clean-up of 160000s.f. for Armstrong cabinets and flooring last summer. (Including crushing all the concrete.)
All three; I operate, estimate, and manage our jobs. We use all sorts of equipment for demo. My father started out with just an old I.H. track loader. He made a "punch bar" for the high stuff. Since then we have graduated to cranes with ball and clam shell. Excavators of course. Set up with thumbs, we have hammers and also have Labounty up-40 with a steel shear, concrete breaker w/rebar shear, and a concrete pulverizer. We still use track loaders on ocasion. We use a bobcat with demo grapple. Indiana is starting to go green I think. I know I just did a project that had the L.E.E.D. requirements.
