thanks for the message i was looking thru my pictures, and tried to post some, but the web site limits on size did not allow me to post them. there is an entire town that will be abandoned , a town here is 250,000 people, the building are 6-8 stories high concrete, when i was there demolition was not on my mind to photo graph those buildings so my photo of those are limited. i have one photo of a 4 story building or whats left of it on my face book account Login | Facebook , next time i go to quake area i'll take more photos of what need to come down.
dear people ,
I am an American, founder of Disaster Relief Shelter Foundation,Inc a Florida
non profit corp, with USA IRS 501c3 approval as tax exempt. The foundation was started shortly after the earthquake of 5-12-08 affecting 5 million people. Recently I spent several days traveling in the earthquake area, and saw a huge amount of destruction , bridges over rivers fallen or partially fallen into rivers, and hundred of buildings leveled to the ground and hundreds partially to the ground ,thousand standing but deemed uninhabitable because of structural damage.
My foundation mission is to help rebuild the area, community centers ,and homes for villager whose income is an average is extremely low , building a energy efficient structurally sound home is impossible for them with out outside help.
Here is an example of how a British company selling heavy equipment broke into the Chinese market, they donated 2 front end loaders to the disaster relief area, later sold 20-30 units to the army. Now have an excellent relationship with army to sell more of there products.I met a representative of that company in a small town restaurant, we were the only 2 foreigners in town and he told me this story.
I with the help of a Chinese national have met some local county leaders who
definitely need help bringing down hundred of dangerous buildings still
standing I would like to if you would consider helping the local people of
china earthquake area with donation of your services and or to donate to help the rebuilding of community centers and home for villagers. Either way would be beneficial to helping you market your services in China. If I can be of assistance to you in any way please reply to this email address. If you'd like photos of the area please request them.
