That hits close to home. About 8 years ago while doing a total strip out for a barracks revitalization at Fort Benning, one of my crew found two fragmentation grenades in a ventilation duct. The MP's told me that they had been having problems with ordnance disappearing, and they believed it was because of certain soldiers with gang connections outside the military(funneling military weapons to gangs). Needless to say that's not something you want to find on the job.
