I have to agree with NukeWorker on this one. Not only the things he stated above, but the banks are getting worried about loaning money and the cost off business has gone up, including oil.
Think about it, if your looking at expanding your work plant and the cost of diesel to run your machinery keeps increasing and there is no sign of letting up, you would have to put those plans on hold just to cover the cost.
Seems like lot's of Jobs are "On Hold" or just cancelled in the midwest and abroad. For the last 4-5 yrs. Most of the demolition we have done has been for new developments. Out with the old in with the new. My employers diesel fuel bill alone could take a small to medium company down quick if the $ is not coming in or even out there. Time to switch gear folks. I think we will see alot of strip out and reuse plans for existing structures when possible. Seems like theres alot of demolition, reclaimation and money in UK and Canada but not here anymore. Google.....News tab......search: demolition, demolish, demolished, raze , razed and torn down a few time a week. "On Hold" seems to be the news....our clients don't have customers for the big plans.....NO MONEY.
I'd like to end this by going not so far out there and cast alot of the blame on the current administration that has failed to do anything for the American People.
