[SIZE=2]Demolition of a landmark on the University of Wisconsin campus began today and you can watch it online.

Crews began tearing down Union South to make way for a brand new, expanded union complete with five performance stages, a wintergarden, a new theater and six restaurants.

The building was also designed to be environmentally sustainable.

Groundbreaking on the new union will be in June and construction is scheduled to be complete by spring of 2011.
