Have not been able to get out there has anything changed?..

On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving I was in contact via Nextel with Testa's highreach operator. The two 1250's have brought down the smaller turbine building and were getting into the main steam building.

The main steam building needs the height of the Jewell High Reach so that was being assembled the this past weekend.

I have not been directed to shoot this project so I am 'on shore leave' until deployed to shoot bigger better things down the pike.

If you are in the area I would suggest going to check it out. Great views from Amtrak 30th Street station or Drexel Univerity.

Stephen: Thought that Testa wasn't going to send you to Philly. That would have been a big mistake. Glad you made it because your video is the best of all. Really great job and insight into what goes into toppling the stack.

P.S. I see you were up pretty early to get started filming that morning.

Great job. Can't beat those seven ground level angles. Too bad you weren't above the scene in the Cira Center though....

When will Testa begin to bring in the heavy machinery and commence the conventional demolition of the building itself?, does anyone know when it will begin.

Testa has 2- 1250's, 1-345, 1 tandem rear water truck, 1 bucket loader, 3- CAT skidsteers and a burning crew onsite. They are clearing the cushioning and stack debris and attacking the main building this week.
I should be uploading my video 'version' later tonight or tomorrow with a quite a different look than the 30 or so videos out there right now....

Nicely done. I especially like the camera angle from under the shed. Great impact shot.
