[FONT=Verdana]But a U-S District judge agreed to suspend 3 million of the fine as long as Longley-Jones Management Corporation uses the money for asbestos cleanup. [/FONT]

[FONT=Verdana]Longley-Jones pleaded guilty last month to federal charges that its workers illegally ripped asbestos from 98 apartment buildings across Onondaga County for up to 15 years. [/FONT]

[FONT=Verdana]The company also was sentenced to two years probation.[/FONT]
