So what are we up to now for 2006? 6 casinos are going to be demolished.
It looks like Miami and Las Vegas are going to be the hot markets with a mystery city coming in a close third.

[font=Verdana]There's new information about the future of the Stardust today. Boyd Gaming plans to develop a $4 billion resort on the 63 acre site of the Stardust. [/font]

[font=Verdana]The 5,300 room resort and casino will be called [/font][font=Verdana]Echelon Place[/font][font=Verdana]. It will include a convention center and retail stores and is scheduled to open in early 2010. [/font]

[font=Verdana]Executives say the Stardust will operate through most of 2006 and be demolished in early 2007, when construction on [/font][font=Verdana]Echelon Place[/font][font=Verdana] will start. [/font]

Looks like another possible implosion for the year of 2006
