That is a beautiful video. I love the way you show how Testa sets up and pulls it down with the big hoe. It is also great how you capture the men who are setting up to pull down the tower. The tower is taller than the building. How cool. I love the way the tower takes a dump on its head and then smashes up on the ground. You did a great job. Lucky you for being there to watch the show live.
Thank you very much for the compliments, Wolf.
I have an ongoing series called the 'Gridiron Artisans' that showcases how the job gets done by the guys on the ground. This was a great addition to that series.
When the tower hit, head first, it crushed the conical shaped top and impacted the surface (crushed and broken brick) in a perfect circle.
Quite amazing in fact.
I had been anticipating the tear down of this tower and had about 16 hours advance notice.
